If I Were God, I Would Make Peter Obi President, He Is The Best- Gov Ortom

In terms of education, in terms of character, in terms of performance, in terms of reaching out, in terms of being a pan-Nigerian, in terms of industrialization, and passion to ensure that our country is liberated from where we are.

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has said if he were to be in the position of God, he would not hesitate to make the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, the president of the country come 2023 election.

 

Newsonline reports that Ortom, said among all the contestants for the presidency in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, has the capacity, competency and character to lead the nation into productivity.

 

Gov Ortom stated this on Wednesday at a visit to IDP camp, residents who were displaced by flood and insecurity, particularly, attacked by alleged armed herdsmen.

Ortom said the best choice the citizens can make is to vote for the person with passion to deliver the country from the many problems confronting her.

 

“If Nigeria needs to make a choice, Obi is one of the finest candidates that we have in this country,” the PDP governor said.

 

Recall, Ortom is one of the members of Wike’s camp, the camp calling for the resignation of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national chairman, Ayu Iyorchia and implementation of agreement they had with the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

 

Ortom added that “In terms of education, in terms of character, in terms of performance, in terms of reaching out, in terms of being a pan-Nigerian, in terms of industrialization, and passion to ensure that our country is liberated from where we are, out of insecurity to security, and out of economic woes to economic vibrancy and out of lack to adequate social life, you (Obi) have the capacity to make things work.”

 

The Labour Party presidential candidate and a former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, was also in the state on November 2, to meet with the governor and foremost traditional rulers, Och’Idoma V, Dr John Elaigwu and Tor Tiv V, James Ortesa Iorzua Ayatse in the state to commiserate with the flood victims.

 

The Benue State governor also lamented that his belonging to the PDP is also another incapacitation confronting him in Obi’s presidential ambition.
