International advocacy organization Global citizen is ready to give fans around the world another dose of unforgettable music and cultural night as they announce line up.
NewsOnline reports that Global Citizen has announced date and line up for it 2022 chapter of the now yearly culture and music festival. This years run will serve as the 10th run of the festival.
Taking to their social media pages, they shared a lineup of artiste enlisted to thrill fans in two locations, Accra, Ghana (presented by Harith General Partners) and New York (presented by Citi and Cisco). The event which is stated to hold on the 24th of September, will see Tems (Nigeria), Charlie Puth (United States), Gyakie (Ghana), Sarkodie (Ghana), StoneBwoy (Ghana), Stormzy (UK), SZA (United States), Usher (United States) and HER (United States), Rosalia (Spain) and more stun fans.
Since it debut at Central Park’s Great Lawn in 2012, the Global Citizen Festival has become the world’s longest-running global campaign calling for an end to extreme poverty that unites millions of voices, further aided by all of the world’s biggest artists, towards demanding that world leaders take action NOW.

This year it wants to demand that the United Nations General Assembly, the G20 and COP27 in November rises up and come together to support their projection of investing $600 million into the future of women and girls, a close of the annual $10 billion climate financing shortfall, and delivering $500 million to African farmers to help them to respond to the global food crisis, and provide urgent relief from crushing debts to End Extreme Poverty NOW.
It plans to air on ABC, ABC News Live, FX, Hulu, iHeartRadio, TimesLIVE, Twitter, YouTube, and more. ABC News Live’s will air on Saturday, September 24, and a primetime special, Global Citizen Festival: Take Action NOW, will air on ABC on Sunday, September 25 at 7:00 pm ET / 6:00 pm CT.
