Video showing the moment Former Governor Wike rejected any ministerial portfolio has emerged.

Newsonline Nigeria reports that the Former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike was seen in a throwback video declaring that he will never be a minister of the federal republic of Nigeria.

In the now-viral video, Former Governor Wike could be seen saying, “Only one person can be a minister from a state, I will not be a minister. I will not. I am not a liability, Rivers State is an asset.

Meanwhile, Newsonline Nigeria reports that the Nigerian senate announced the list of President Tinubu’s ministers nominees which included the former Rivers state governor.

Although his portfolio is yet to be known, it has been confirmed that the former governor will serve as a minister in President Tinubu’s administration.

President Tinubu submitted a 28-man list earlier today as his ministers’ nominees while another batch is expected when the senate reconvenes soon.
