Kwankwasiyya Movement has claimed that only Peter Obi and Kwankwaso have organic support in a daring message to Atiku.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Kwankwasiyya movement has declared that only Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso enjoy genuine grassroots support ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The position comes amid ongoing political manoeuvring for the presidential ticket of the African Democratic Congress.

Speaking on Arise Television, the movement’s spokesperson, Habib Mailemo, said the support base of Obi and Kwankwaso is driven by personal conviction rather than political inducement or reliance on party structures.

He made the remarks while responding to claims linked to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, arguing that Atiku’s popularity is largely influenced by backing from governors within the Peoples Democratic Party and its established network.

“It is only Peter Obi and my principal, Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who have organic followers that are not induced by anything,” Mailemo said.

He added that both politicians enjoy strong support from Nigerians who believe in their competence and track records, noting that their appeal resonates directly with the masses.

The statement reflects growing political positioning ahead of the 2027 elections, as opposition figures continue to test alliances and public support bases.
