FG has appealed to Nigerian youths to stop renouncing their citizenship.

 

News Online reports that President Muhammadu Buhari’s federal government through that the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, has appealed to Nigerian youths to stop renouncing their citizenship in pursuit of greener pasture.

Speaking at the Ministerial Alignment Meeting of the Presidential Task Force on Deliverables for Ministries, Departments, and Agencies of Government, the Minister says that the rate of denouncement is worrisome.

 

The minister who was represented at the meeting by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Dr. Shuaib Belgore, said the Federal government would put up a mechanism in place to keep Nigerian youths productive.

Aregbesola revealed that a committee would be set up in the Ministry to oversee the operations and implementation of the deliverables.

Director, Planning Research and Statistics (PRS) in the Ministry, Mr. Kabiru Ayuba, was announced as the Chairman of the committee with representatives of the four Services under the Ministry.
