Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri has expressed confidence in Dele-Bashiru’s potential to become a standout midfielder, praising his skills after recent Europa League performances and indicating he has what it takes to excel in the role.

Newsonline Nigeria reports that Lazio manager Marco Baroni believes that Fisayo Dele-Bashiru possesses the qualities needed to become an exceptional midfielder.

The 23-year-old showcased his talent in the Serie A club’s UEFA Europa League match, contributing significantly to their 3-0 victory over Dynamo Kiev on Wednesday night. Dele-Bashiru not only scored a goal but also provided an assist during the match.

Baroni is optimistic that Dele-Bashiru will enhance his game with more experience.

He explained, “When I say he needs to be developed, I mean he should concentrate more on tactics and learning how to impact the game, not just when he has the ball at his feet.”

He added that once Dele-Bashiru understands this aspect, he will transform into an outstanding modern midfielder.
