Former Manchester United captain, Gary Neville, has called on forward Cristiano Ronaldo to break his silence now on his ongoing transfer saga, insisting that the club is in crisis.
Newsonline report that Ronaldo had threatened to lift the lid on the ‘truth’ relating to his transfer stand-off with Man United in a bombshell interview ‘in a couple (of) weeks’.
This comes after multiple reports that the Portugal captain is desperate for a move away from Old Trafford this summer and wants to join a club that can give him Champions League football.
But Neville, who won three English Premier League titles with Man United, said Ronaldo should speak the truth now rather than waiting two more weeks for the transfer window to shut.

“Why does the greatest player of all time (in my opinion) have to wait two weeks to tell Manchester United fans the truth? Stand up now and speak,” Neville wrote on Twitter on Wednesday morning.
“The club is in crisis and it needs leaders to lead. He’s the only one who can grab this situation by the scruff of the neck!”
