In the spirit of Eid-El-Fitr, joy and gratitude filled the air as Lagos State Arewa Community (LASACOM) members received a generous distribution of essential groceries.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Lagos State Arewa Community (LASACOM) members are celebrating in high spirits after receiving essential food items for the 2025 Eid-El-Fitr celebrations.

The distribution, which took place on Saturday, March 29, at Arewa House on Plot 43, Capitol Road, Agege, saw members receiving bags of rice, semolina, and cartons of sugar.

The initiative was spearheaded by the convener and apex leader of the Arewa Community in Lagos, Arc. Ahmed Kabiru Abdullahi, who personally procured and handed out the items.

Speaking during the event, Abdullahi—who previously served as the Lagos State Commissioner for Waterfront Infrastructure Development—emphasized that the gesture was aimed at ensuring a joyous Eid celebration for LASACOM members.

He further revealed that the community leadership is actively working on additional empowerment initiatives to enhance the financial and economic well-being of its members, continuing LASACOM’s tradition of support and development.
