Obi Cubana’s Wife has released an emotional message about the arrest of her ‘resilient’ husband by EFCC.

 

 

Newsonline reports that the Wife of Popular socialite, Obi Iyiegbu has reacted to his arrest by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

Iyiegbu, also known as ‘Obi Cubana’ was picked up by officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Monday on allegations of Money Laundering and Tax evasion.

In a statement on Social Media, his wife, who goes by ‘lusheby’ on instagram wrote;

BREAKING: EFCC Arrests Obi Cubana Over Money Laundering

 

Meanwhile, Newsonline Nigeria reports that Cubana Chief Priest has begun #FreeObicubana campaign on social media.

 

The popular Celebrity Barman, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest took his Instagram social media handle to demand the immediate and unconditional release of his friend and boss, Obi Cubana.

 

Cubana Chief Priest wrote, ”What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger, we Igbos are used to this. #freeobicubana.”
