Newsonline reports that Atiku had said at the Arise Television presidential town hall meeting series, on Sunday, that he may not rely entirely on Nigerian hospitals for personal healthcare if elected president in the forthcoming presidential election.

He said, “Health facilities that cater to my health may not be available.”

“We have limitations; we know we have those limitations.”

However, Senator Sani has come out to say it was better Atiku did not toe the path of campaign deception.

He made his reaction known in a post via his verified Twitter handle.

He wrote: “Rather than lie that when he wins he will restrict himself to Nigerian hospital, it’s better that Atiku refused to toe that path of campaign deception.”

Recall that Nigerian political elites are known for rushing to foreign countries for medical care, a development that has been blamed on the neglect of the country’s health sector.
