Details Of Bola Tinubu Closed Door Meeting With Buhari Emerges

Details of Bola Tinubu closed-door meeting with President Buhari in Abuja has emerged.

 

 

Newsonline reports that President Muhammadu Buhari, on Sunday, held a closed-door meeting with the National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

 

In a brief statement by Tinubu, he noted that he came to thank the president paying him a visit while he was in London.

“I came to thank President Muhammadu Buhari for visiting me in London when I had a knee surgery. He demonstrated empathy. He is an exceptional leader,” he said.

The President, who returned to Abuja on Friday after a five-day working visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is expected to leave Abuja for the United Kingdom (UK) later today, to participate in the ongoing United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26).
