Chelsea set to break British transfer record as Caicedo heads for medical.

Newsonline Nigeria report that Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo is poised for a medical assessment on Monday morning before finalizing his highly-anticipated transfer to Chelsea.

The deal, worth a staggering £115m, sees Chelsea commit an initial payment of £100m, along with an additional £15m contingent upon performance-related milestones. Notably, the agreement also includes a substantial sell-on clause, providing Brighton with a promising opportunity for future gains. The latest reports from Sky Sports shed light on this momentous development in the world of football.

Moises Caicedo, who had also garnered interest from Liverpool, is now on the verge of sealing a momentous deal with Chelsea. The contract on the table is nothing short of extraordinary – an astounding eight-year agreement, with the added option of extending it for a further 12 months.

Brighton, who made a shrewd move by acquiring Caicedo from Independiente del Valle in 2021 for a mere £4.5m, are now poised to reap substantial financial rewards from this remarkable transfer.
