Newsonline reports that the United Nations has appointed Former President of Nigeria Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCFR the UN Global Crises Envoy.

Former President Jonathan new role, Newsonline Nigeria reports is similar to that of Tony Blair who on leaving office as the United Kingdom Prime Minister was appointed the Middle East envoy for the United Nations, European Union, United States and Russia.
