Top Government Appointee, Haruna Danzago is dead.
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Managing Director of Kano State Refuse Management and Sanitation Board (REMASAB), Haruna Danzago, has passed away. He died on Thursday morning at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) in Kano following a prolonged illness.

Danzago, a respected public servant and fearless politician, was known for his significant contributions to politics in Kano State. As the head of REMASAB, he played a pivotal role in improving waste management and environmental sanitation, ensuring cleaner streets and better hygiene standards for residents.
He was appointed as the Managing Director of REMASAB on July 5, 2023, by the State governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf.
His death is considered a great loss to Kano State and the country at large. Danzago is survived by wives and children. Funeral arrangements were expected to be announced by his family in line with Islamic rites any moment from now.
