According to Idris, the directive aims to ensure transparency and allow citizens to engage with the government’s efforts by asking relevant questions.

As part of his commitment to strengthening governance, President Tinubu reshuffled his cabinet on October 23, 2024, leading to the dismissal of five ministers.

The ministers affected by the shake-up included Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, Minister of Women Affairs; Lola Ade-John, Minister of Tourism; Prof. Tahir Mamman, Minister of Education; Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development; and Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, Minister of Youth Development.
