BREAKING: Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Olakulehin Is Dead

Born on July 5, 1935, Oba Olakulehin was officially installed as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland on July 12, 2024, when he received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, has passed away at the age of 90.

 

The revered monarch died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025 exactly one year after ascending the throne. His passing comes just two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.
