NAFDAC Automated Monitoring Website has crashed, causing a lot of glitches for business owners in Nigeria.
Newsonline Nigeria reports that the NAFDAC Automated Production Administration And Monitoring System (NAPAMS) website, https://napams.org, owned by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), has been experiencing downtime for the past few weeks which may result to eventual crash.
Stakeholders lamented the continuous technical glitches experienced while using the NAPAMS website as they were unable to process their product registration with the agency as a result of the glitches.

This Nigeria news platform understands that most of the stakeholders were frustrated at the close of business on Tuesday, a day before this month’s Food and Drugs Registration Committee (FDRC) approval meeting which was on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
One of the stakeholders who spoke with our correspondent on the condition of anonymity said he finds applications from other companies in his company’s portal while accessing the NAPAMS website.
Newsonline Nigeria gathered that the NAFDAC automated monitoring system glitch is also frustrating the staff as well, as they have to work extra hours and wake up at night when there might be less traffic on the site to see if they can record any success.
NAPAMS is an e-registration and data capture system that provides an online electronic medium for the application for product registration with NAFDAC and the data capture of all existing and current products approved by NAFDAC.
Meanwhile, as of the time of filing this report, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) had yet to issue a statement regarding the NAPAMS website glitches or respond to Newsonline Nigeria phone calls.
