BREAKING: Military Invades Banex Plaza After Attack On Soldiers [VIDEO]

Military has invaded Banex Plaza after an attack on soldiers.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that some military personnel have stormed the popular Banex Shopping Plaza in Abuja few hours after their colleagues were assaulted by thugs.

 

This Nigeria news platform earlier reported that some thugs, suspected to be traders at the plaza, had attacked at least three soldiers after an argument over a faulty mobile device.

 

 

In a viral video seen by our reporter, thugs broke into groups and descended on the soldiers in uniform.

Some traders had closed for the day and fled home to apparently avoid being caught up in a reprisal attack.

 

However, hours after the assault, armed soldiers invaded the market chasing people in different directions.

In a video of the incident, someone was heard screaming, “This is World War 2.”

It was unclear if there were any casualties as at the tor of filing this report.

The police had earlier deployed its men to the area to prevent a breakdown of law and order.
