Lagos Tejuosho Market is on fire.

NewsOnline reports that the popular Tejuosho market in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, is currently on fire.

This online news platform understands that while the Lagos State Fire Service (LSFS), confirmed a fire outbreak in the area, they couldn’t say exactly where the fire was, but it is thought to be close to the ultramodern market complex.

Federal and Lagos State fire departments claim that their personnel are on the scene putting out the fire, although specifics are still hazy. Due to the thick black smoke that filled the air, commuters and drivers who were going that way had to turn around.

Videos shared online showed some shops at the Lagos Tejuosho market on fire.
