Udengs Eradiri has accused the Labour Party Chairman of collecting N100 million bribe from PDP in Bayelsa.

 

Newsonline Nigeria reports that the Bayelsa gubernatorial race has taken an unexpected turn as Udengs Eradiri, the Labour Party’s governorship candidate in the state, makes startling allegations against the party chairman.

 

During a recent appearance on the Arise ‘Morning Show, Eradiri revealed that the chairman had collected a substantial sum of N100 million, compromising his ability to endorse and support the candidate.

Eradiri’s revelations shed light on a growing issue within the party, where vested interests appear to be overshadowing the principles and ideals the Labour Party stands for.

 

He expressed his concern that the chairman had not been actively participating in his campaign, a clear sign of a lack of support.

During the interview, Dr. Abatti asked Eradiri about his previous comments regarding the incumbent governor’s competence. While the king had praised the governor’s performance, Eradiri maintained that the king might not openly criticize the governor due to fear.

 

Another topic that emerged during the interview was the alleged assault that took place at a radio station. Eradiri clarified that it was not a case of physical beating but rather a form of discipline.
