Kogi Assembly has taken a fresh decision on 9 Members with terrorism charges.
NewsOnline reports that the Kogi State House of Assembly has cleared nine members of allegations bordering on terrorism and welcomed them back to the House.
This online newspaper ecalls that on March 24 2023, the State Assembly announced the suspension of Olusola Kilani (Ijumu), Bello Hassan (Ajaokuta), Muhammed Lawi Ahmed (Okene I), Moses Akande (Ogori/Magongo), Aderonke Aro (Yagba West), Daniyan Ranyi (Bassa), Atule Igbunu (Ibaji), Atachaji Musa (Idah) and Muktar Bajeh (Okehi).

Their suspension followed a letter read in the house from the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, alleging that the lawmakers engaged in terrorism based on security reports.
The lawmakers were exonerated in an announcement made on the floor of the state House of Assembly during Wednesday’s plenary session.
The members are expected to resume work with immediate effect.
Speaking on the development, Kilani, a member representing Ijumu State Constituency, expressed appreciation that he has been cleared, saying his integrity remains intact, and untainted and will continue to work towards the sustained development of the state.
