IPMAN is set to cut Petrol Price following Dangote Refinery’s price slash.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has announced plans to reduce the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) starting Monday, following a fresh cut in ex-depot prices by Dangote Refinery.

Abubakar Maigandi, IPMAN’s National President, confirmed the development in an interview with DAILY POST on Friday. This comes after Dangote Refinery slashed its ex-depot petrol price from ₦840 to ₦820 per litre on Thursday.

Reacting to the price cut, Maigandi revealed that IPMAN members are preparing to adjust their pump prices in line with the refinery’s new rate.

“Our members will also reduce prices. We are meeting on Monday to announce a new fuel price,” Maigandi stated.

As of Friday, petrol prices in Abuja retail between ₦905 and ₦945 per litre. Major outlets such as the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), NIPCO, AA Rano, and Shema are selling at ₦910 per litre, while MRS, AP Ardova, and other Dangote Refinery-affiliated outlets offer fuel at ₦905 per litre.

Other stations like Ranoil, Empire Energy, and Total Emadeb are dispensing at prices ranging from ₦920 to ₦945 per litre.
