IGP Egbetokun has replaced Police Officers sacked over age falsification.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has ordered the redeployment of officers to fill positions left vacant by those forced to retire due to age falsification and document forgery.

A list of 467 officers who manipulated their records to extend their service was earlier published.

Some officers retired quietly, while others refused, prompting the police leadership to summon them before a disciplinary committee.
