FG has reunited over 5,000 Repentant Boko Haram Terrorists with their families.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the National Counter Terrorism Centre, Office of the National Security Advisor, says at least 5,000 repented Boko Haram fighters have been reunited with their families.

It says none of the ex-combatants returned to the battle ground after six months of the deradicalisation programme.

Amb. Mairo Musa Abbas, Head of Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE), stated this at the second-day session of the Lake Chad Basin Governors’ Forum.
