BREAKING: FG Orders MTN, Airtel, Glo To Block All Numbers Without NIN

The Commission also announced that 153 million subscribers have already linked their SIMs with their NINs.

FG has ordered MTN, Airtel, Glo and 9mobile among others to block all numbers without NIN linked on September 15, 2024.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Federal Government through the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has set a deadline of September 15, 2024, for telephone users to link their mobile lines with their National Identity Numbers (NIN), warning that failure to do so will result in the lines being barred.
