FCT Minister Wike has spoken on Tinubu’s reinstatement of Fubara.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for lifting the emergency rule in Rivers State, describing the move as a bold step toward restoring peace and democratic governance.

In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, the Minister commended the President’s decisive intervention, noting that it had saved Rivers State from further political instability and restored citizens’ confidence in his leadership.

He lauded the people of Rivers State for their continued support for President Tinubu, stressing that the administration remained committed to steering Nigeria back on the path of peace, progress, and sustainable development.

The Minister further urged all stakeholders in the state to work together harmoniously in the collective interest of its people. He cautioned those he described as “fifth columnists” and crisis merchants to steer clear of the state, warning that the federal government would not condone attempts to destabilize the peace process.

“From Rivers State going forward, the only news that will emanate will be that of peace, progress, and development,” he declared.
