Newsonline Nigeria reports that Bayelsa State Governor and the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Douye Diri, may be coasting to victory, as the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, begins announcement of results of the governorship election conducted on Saturday.
Diri who is seeking a second term under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won 5 out of 6 Local Government Areas (LGAs) announced so far by INEC in the state.
