Court has stopped Ayu from acting as PDP National Chairman.
NewsOnline reports that Iyorchia Ayu has been ordered temporarily not to represent himself as the People’s Democratic Party’s national chairman by a high court in the state of Benue (PDP).
The order was issued on Monday by W.I. Kpochi, the presiding judge, in response to Conrad Terhide Utaan’s motion ex parte, with the motion number MHC/633/2023.

Recall that the party’s Ward Executive in the Igyorov Ward of the Gboko Local Government Area, LGA, of the state of Benue implemented Dr. Ayu’s suspension.
Dr Ayu was suspended by the Executive for alleged anti-party activities, according to the Ward Secretary Mr. Vangeryina Dooyum, who spoke to the media on Sunday on behalf of Kashi Philip, the Ward Chairman.
The National Chairman was suspended after the leadership examined his behavior following the recently finished general elections, according to a text read by the Secretary that was signed by 12 of the 17 members of the Ward Executive.
