Court has disqualified Rivers APC Governorship Candidate.

 

Newsonline reports that the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital has disqualified the state’s All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Tonye Cole.

This online news platform had earlier reported that the state’s PDP has asked INEC to disqualify Cole of the APC, claiming that the delegates that voted at the primary election that brought in the candidate were not democratically elected.

 

When the matter commenced, the counsel to APC, raised a preliminary objection on the jurisdiction of the court to hear the suit.
