Charly Boy has raised the alarm over the alleged plot by the Tinubu Government to illegally arrest and prosecute Peter Obi.
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that popular Nigerian activist and entertainer Charles Oputa aka Charly Boy has raised the alarm over an alleged plot by President Bola Tinubu’s Government to illegally arrest and prosecute Labour Party 2023 Presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
This Nigeria news platform understands that Charly Boy who is an ardent supporter of Obi said that his other supporters commonly known as Obidients are ready to spring into action if the rumors were true.
He said he’d heard that the government had plans to arrest him because he had been speaking out and criticizing their policies regularly.
He however cautioned President Tinubu against carrying out the rumored plans as it could lead to the country burning down.
He wrote: There’s a report of an attempt of arrest on Peter Obi, by Tinubu’s Government over Peter Obi’s consistent refusal to back down on calling Tinubu out towards good governance and accountability.
Any arrest or charges against Obi must be met with resistance as never seen in the history of Nigeria before, and the Obidients are ready for it. Tinubu’s government must tread with caution not to set this nation on fire with an illegal arrest of HE Peter Obi. We call on Tinubu’s government to desist from her evil plans against Peter Obi because Nigeria will not remain the same.
