APC Candidate Ukachukwu has accused APGA of vote buying in Anambra Governorship Election.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Anambra State, Mr. Nicholas Ukachukwu, has accused the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) of engaging in large-scale vote buying during the ongoing governorship election.

Ukachukwu, who cast his vote at 11:46 a.m. at Umudimala 1, Polling Unit 011, Osumenyi Ward 2, Nnewi South Local Government Area, told journalists that reports from across the state indicated that “APGA is buying votes.”

When asked about claims that APC agents were also involved in vote buying, Ukachukwu responded sharply, questioning whether the journalist was “an APGA agent.”

Despite his allegations, the APC candidate expressed confidence in the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), commending the electoral body for conducting what he described as a credible process so far.

“Yes, I’m confident in INEC. They are doing a good job,” Ukachukwu said.

Flanked by his wife, he voiced optimism that he would emerge victorious in the election, insisting that the people of Anambra are ready for change.

According to him, the strong voter turnout was a clear message that citizens are dissatisfied with the current administration, which he claimed has failed to deliver on its promises.
