Modupe Abiola has declared a sovereign Democratic Republic of Yoruba Nation.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that one Ms Modupe Onitiri Abiola has declared herself the president of a new Sovereign Democratic Republic of Yoruba Nation which she claimed seceded from Nigeria.

This Nigeria news platform understands that Ms Abiola, in the treasonous move, made this known via a video feed being shared by supporters of the alleged new nation.

She read out a speech to commemorate the occasion which took place on April 12 as she announced that the unrecognized nation had an army of its own.
