NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Big Brother Naija Season 10 finalist Kola Omotosho has revealed that he cannot date or marry the show’s winner, Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, despite their strong bond during the reality show.
Kola and Imisi were known for their close friendship in the Big Brother house, with many viewers speculating that their connection would blossom into a romantic relationship after the show.
Despite their on-screen chemistry, the pair maintained a purely platonic relationship throughout the show, often referring to each other as siblings.
Following the show’s conclusion, speculation about a possible romance persisted among fans after the two were spotted together at several public events.
Addressing the matter during a recent livestream, Kola clarified that Imisi is like a sister to him and emphasized that he could never date or marry her.
He said, “Imisi is my sister, I can’t marry my sister. Imisi is in her house, I’m in my house. Please, can we make this about me?”—a response aimed at fans who continued to question him about their relationship.
During the show, Kola was romantically drawn to Dede, another housemate, but their relationship remained platonic as she was already in a committed relationship outside the house.
In a post-show interview, Dede explained that she still wouldn’t have dated Kola even if she were single, noting that they were simply not compatible.
