According to Ayra Starr, the track was inspired by a personal relationship and the uncertainty surrounding whether the relationship should remain hidden or be revealed to the public.

“‘Where Do We Go’ is inspired by a private relationship. Are we going to stay hidden or come out to the world? I’m kind of like in the middle so like where do we go,” she said.

The singer explained that the emotional conflict behind the song reflects the reality of balancing personal relationships with life in the public eye.

During the interview, Ayra Starr also spoke about her admiration for global music icon Rihanna, revealing that she would love the opportunity to intern under the superstar.

Ayra Starr continues to rise as one of Nigeria’s most prominent Afrobeats stars, gaining global recognition for her music and unique style.
