Arewa Community has commended Alimosho Council Chairman for his Renewed Hope Cash Support Initiative.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Arewa Community in Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State has applauded the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, for what it describes as a genuine commitment to inclusivity and grassroots development.

Their commendation comes on the heels of the council’s “Renewed Hope Cash Support Initiative,” through which 500 residents including members of the Arewa Community received financial support.

The initiative forms part of the multi-sectoral project commissioning activities marking Hon. Johnson’s first 100 days in office.

Speaking on behalf of the community, the Chairman of the Arewa Community in the Alimosho Federal Constituency, Ibrahim Abubakar Jagaba, expressed deep appreciation for the gesture. He noted that Hon. Johnson, popularly known as Alasepe, has “reinvigorated inclusive grassroots governance,” staying true to the promises he made at the outset of his administration.

“We are pleased to see that the chairman is a ‘talk-and-do’ leader,” Jagaba said. “The Arewa Community in Alimosho will continue to give him full support as he works to advance the local government in alignment with his Wise Agenda, the T.H.E.M.E.S+ agenda of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda—for the progress of Alimosho, Lagos State, and Nigeria as a whole.”
