Scholarship Categories at EDSU

Undergraduate Full Scholarship Award

  • Duration: Extends through your chosen programme.
  • Criteria: Your first choice in UTME must be Edo State University.
  • Score Requirement: A minimum UTME score of 260.
  • Slots Available: Only five exceptional candidates will be awarded.

Indigent Students Scholarship Award

  • Award: 100 scholarships available for indigent students.
  • Coverage: It includes tuition fees for your chosen programme.
  • Criteria: Specifically for Edo State indigenes with a UTME score of 180.

 EDSU Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

  • UTME Score: You must have a minimum score stipulated for each scholarship category.
  • English Proficiency: High competency in written and spoken English is required.
  • Proof of Indigency: Edo State origin students must provide evidence of indigency.
  • Programme Exclusions: Note that Medicine, Law, Nursing, and MLS are not covered as they are oversubscribed.
  • Admission Requirements: You must meet EDSU’s entry requirements for your chosen course.

How to Apply for EDSU Scholarship

  • Application Portal: Visit EDSU’s scholarship page to submit your application online.
  • Screening Date: Set a reminder for the CBT Screening and Interview on Wednesday, 22nd November 2023.
