APC Integrity Political Action Issues Communique After Abuja Strategic Meeting

APC Integrity Political Action Committee has issued a fresh communique after Abuja strategic meeting.

 

News Online understands that the meeting deliberated on ways and means for APC to win the 2023 Gubernatorial and other elections in Delta State and agreed that unity of purpose by all party faithful in the state is the key to success in the 2023 elections . The meeting noted that equitable distribution and appropriate zoning formulae of party positions in the State EXCO will engender unity in the party and serve as a fillip to effectively mobilize APC in Delta State.’

 

BREAKING: VP Osinbajo Appoints Sanwo-Olu, El-Rufai, Others (Full List)

In light of the above IPAC resolved as follows:

a. In the interest of
peace, equity and justice, APC Delta State should adopt a zoning formula based on senatorial districts.

b. Deriving from No. a. above, the current party EXCO positions in Delta State be rotated as follows:
i) Cluster positions currently held by Delta South be rotated to Delta North, thus Delta North should hold the State Chairman positions amongst others
ii) Cluster positions currently held by Delta North should be rotated to Delta Central , thus Delta Central will produce the State Secretary amongst other positions
iii) Cluster positions now held by Delta Central should be rotated to Delta South, Thus Delta South will produce the Deputy State Chairman amongst other positions

c. IPAC calls on all party Leaders and faithful to consider the above favourably for the unity and progress of the APC in Delta State

d. IPAC members aspiring to party EXCO positions in Delta State should indicate interest in IPAC Platform

e. IPAC hereby re-affirm its neutrality in repositioning Delta APC and welcome all tendencies in the party to work with IPAC to unify the party.

f. IPAC leaders are requested to sponsor credible APC members interested in contesting for EXCO positions in their respective Wards & LGAs

g. IPAC hereby call on all APC faithful to disregard leadership of divisiveness and work for APC victory in 2023 through the unity of the party.
