Newsonline Nigeria reports that the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has revealed the names of the Principal Officers of the tenth Senate majority caucus, solidifying the foundation for legislative activities in the chamber.
In a recent announcement, Akpabio unveiled the key positions and affirmed the All Progressives Congress (APC) caucus’ consensus on the appointments.
This Nigeria News Platform understands that Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, representing Ekiti Central, was appointed as the Senate Majority Leader, a significant role that carries responsibility for coordinating the activities and setting the direction of the majority caucus. Additionally, Senator Dave Umahi of Ebonyi South was named the Deputy Majority Leader, while Senator Ali Ndume of Borno South was designated as the Chief Whip.
