Mark said the initiative reflects the party’s founding ideals of justice, equity, accountability, and people-centred governance, stressing that credible and verifiable membership data are vital to the party’s legitimacy, relevance, and national political success.

According to the former Senate President, the committee which was constituted by the National Working Committee (NWC) will oversee nationwide membership revalidation, fresh registrations, grassroots mobilisation, data harmonisation, and the deployment of both electronic and manual platforms to ensure transparency and proper documentation.

He also disclosed that the party would introduce new membership cards with state-specific security features, urging committee members to carry out their assignment with integrity, fairness, and inclusiveness while working closely with state and local party structures across the country.

In his acceptance speech, committee chairman Kashim Imam pledged to discharge the task with diligence and transparency, describing the exercise as a turning point in rebuilding the ADC into an inclusive, people-driven political movement.

Imam noted that the committee has 30 days to submit its report, adding that mobilisation and registration efforts have commenced immediately to reach Nigerians in urban centres, rural communities, deserts, and riverine areas nationwide.
