Matchday Two of the AFCON 2025 qualifiers delivered exciting action, with teams battling for vital points. Here are the key results and highlights.

Newsonline Nigeria reports that the results from Matchday Two of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers are in, with Senegal claiming a narrow 1-0 win over Burundi at the Bingu National Stadium in Malawi.

Ismaïla Sarr of Crystal Palace netted a second-half penalty to secure the victory for Senegal.

Senegal has moved to the top of Group L with four points from two matches following their 1-0 win over Burundi.
In another Monday fixture, Equatorial Guinea and Togo played to a 2-2 draw.

•Burundi 0-1 Senegal
•Equatorial Guinea 2-2 Togo
•Madagascar 1-1 Comoros
•Niger 1-1 Ghana
•Uganda 2-0 Congo
•Angola 2-1 Sudan
•Ethiopia 0-2 DR Congo
•Lesotho 0-1 Morocco
The remaining Matchday Two games will take place today.
