FAAC has shared N2.001trn July 2025 Revenue to FG, States, and LGs.
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared a total of N2.001 trillion among the three tiers of government as revenue for July 2025. The allocation was made during FAAC’s August 2025 meeting held in Abuja.
According to a communiqué issued by the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, the distributable revenue comprised:

Value Added Tax (VAT) – N640.610 billion 
- 
Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) – N37.601 billion

Revenue Performance
Gross statutory revenue received for July stood at N3.070 trillion, lower by N415.108 billion compared to the N3.485 trillion recorded in June.
VAT collections rose to N687.940 billion in July, higher than the June figure of N678.165 billion by N9.775 billion.

Sectoral Revenue Trends
The communiqué further disclosed that revenue from Petroleum Profit Tax (PPT), Oil and Gas Royalty, EMTL, and Excise Duty recorded significant increases in July.
