28 Senators and 46 Reps Members have reportedly joined ADC.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) says it has significantly expanded its political reach, now boasting 28 senators and over 100 elected representatives nationwide.

The announcement was made during the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held Tuesday in Abuja.

Ralph Nwosu, the ADC’s founder and pioneer National Chairman, attributed the party’s rapid growth to its refusal to accept financial inducements aimed at compromising its independence and weakening its opposition stance.

“Our integrity has paid off,” Nwosu said. “By rejecting attempts to buy our loyalty, we’ve attracted credible politicians and earned the trust of voters.”

He disclosed that the ADC currently has more than 46 members in the House of Representatives and over 50 lawmakers serving in various state assemblies.

The party’s total number of elected officials has now surpassed 100 and continues to rise, according to Nwosu.

He also noted growing youth interest in the party, as reflected by increased activity on its digital registration platform.

Nwosu said the surge in support was driven by the party’s commitment to resisting Nigeria’s drift toward a one-party system.

“The ADC is not for sale, and we will continue to provide a genuine alternative for Nigerians,” he added.
