Primate Ayodele has stated that ECOWAS and AU lack solutions to Africa’s deepening crises.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has strongly criticized the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the African Union (AU), asserting that both bodies lack the capacity to address the growing challenges facing the African continent.

In a statement released by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele lamented that while Africa grapples with numerous crises, its leadership remains stagnant and ineffective, further plunging the continent into deeper problems.

He warned that unless significant changes occur, African nations may soon turn against one another due to failed leadership. He also projected that Africa will remain subservient to the Western world for the next 25 years unless a new, reformed version of the continent emerges.

“There is danger ahead for the African Union Commission. It will be perceived as corrupt and biased,” he stated. “Africa will face persistent internal strife, and unity among nations will continue to deteriorate. The continent will be exploited as a dumping ground by the West, and only prayers can save it.”

The cleric emphasized that coups are far from over in Africa, and that ECOWAS and the AU will struggle with mounting controversies, including territorial disputes, trade zone challenges, and failing infrastructure development.

He also issued a prophetic call for prayers to avert the potential loss of a prominent African leader, while naming countries such as DR Congo, Mali, Somalia, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Togo, and Ghana as possible flashpoints for unrest or attacks.

“There will be a revolution across the continent aimed at removing aging political figures,” Ayodele noted. “Coups will still occur due to misinformation, and ECOWAS will find itself entangled in several contentious issues.”

He further warned of the emergence of new terrorist groups across several African nations, including Guinea, Mali, the Central African Republic, Burkina Faso, Togo, Nigeria, Chad, Niger, the Benin Republic, and Burundi. According to him, the threat will significantly destabilize the region’s economy and security.

“ECOWAS will make critical errors in judgment that will hinder African unity. The formation of new terror groups will shake the foundation of several countries, and without a unified continental force to confront them, the continent will remain vulnerable,” he concluded.
