Supreme Court has thrown out Atiku’s appeal against Tinubu victory.

 

Newsonline Nigeria reports that the supreme court of Nigeria has thrown out Atiku’s appeal to affirm the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the duly elected president of Nigeria.

The court dismissed the appeals of PDP’s Abubakar Atiku few minutes ago in its lead judgement.

The opposition party had approached the court to challenge the election that produced Tinubu as president.

The supreme court held that there is no merit in Atiku Abubakar’s appeal, and it is hereby dismissed.
