APC Youth Leaders have written President Tinubu and demanded son, Seyi to be allowed to choose the next Youth Minister.

Newsonline Nigeria reports that the Forum of Youth Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the country has written to President Bola Tinubu on the type of person they want as the Youth Minister.

In the letter sighted by Newsonline Nigeria, the group urged Tinubu to allow his son, Seyi Tinubu to midwife the appointment of a youthful minister for the youth ministry.

The letter read in part, “Your Excellency, sir, it will interest you to note that His Excellency, Seyi Tinubu has consistently and against all odds, painstakingly strengthened the youth wing of the party, especially at a time the youthful vigor was needed to drive the campaigns.

“He also travelled at very odd hours to numerous states to do on-the-spot- assessment and canvas support for the success of this administration; which made him better understand and appreciate the peculiar challenges confronting the youths.

“We, therefore, believe that allowing him to midwife the appointment of a youthful Minister for the youth ministry will ease the agitations of the youths across most of the states of the federation.”

Newsonline Nigeria earlier reported that President Tinubu had redeployed 64-year-old Engr. Abubakar Momoh from the Federal Ministry of Youth to the Federal Ministry of Niger Delta Development after much outcry over his age.
