2023 Election: Why I Led 1 Million March For Tinubu- Gov Oyetola

The Governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola has said he led a one million march for the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a means of reciprocating kind gestures Asiwaju has given to him over the years.

Newsonline reported that Governor Oyetola on 25 October, led members of the state executives and the state party leaders and members for an 11km one million march to sensitize the state residents on the reason why they should vote for the former governor of Lagos state in the 2023 election.

“The walk was a means of reciprocating the kind gestures of Asiwaju and to express our support as a State for his presidential ambition,” Oyetola said.

He said that the country needs a president like Tinubu who has the pedigree nd antcedent to trun the Nigeria around.

Oyetola further said it would be a grave mistake for the citizens to miss electing Tinubu, warning that any experiment may need the country to doom.

The Osun governor who is an APC governor, whose party has been in power at the Federal level added that Bola Tinubu is a pathfinder and leader per excellence.

“At this critical time in the history of our nation, there is no room for experiment on the choice of our next president, and considering Tinubu’s political pedigree and antecedents, he is no doubt, the best man for the job.

“Asiwaju is a pathfinder and leader per excellence. He is not only a problem solver, he is a genius, a roadmap designer and implementor who out of little or nothing, turned around the socioeconomic fortunes of Lagos State,” he added.

The governor further added, “Additionally, he is the only man that has the required capacity and political wherewithal to reposition the country.”

Oyetola called on Osun citizens and residents to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) ready for the 2023 general election.

“I appreciate our people who took out time to participate in the walk. It shows that we are truly ready for the growth and development we desire as a country.

“Let me urge those who are yet to collect their permanent voters’ cards to ensure they do so, as another window has been made available for collection,” Oyetola said.
