1. There was pandemonium on Monday when hoodlums invaded the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential campaign mega rally in Kaduna and launched an attack on the crowd. The hoodlums came into the Ranchers Bees Stadium venue with sticks and machetes and started attacking the crowd, leaving many injured.

2. Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has expressed mixed feelings over comments credited to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, advising Northerners that they should vote for him in the 2023 election because he hails from the northern region. Wike said if true, such a statement was a threat to the unity of the country.

3. The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a 37-year-old Lagos car dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, aka IVD, over the death of his wife, Abimbola, in the Lekki area of the State. The State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this to our correspondent on Monday. The wife allegedly died as a result of domestic violence.

4. Elder statesman and leader of the Pan-Niger Delta Forum, Edwin Clark, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari, to order the release of the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, in line with the court’s judgement. Clark also faulted Malami, whom he said had abandoned part of his job and was involved in what he described as “executive rascality,” to the dismay of patriotic citizens.

5. Two persons were killed and three others injured on Sunday when gunmen attacked a Celestial Church of Christ at Felele, Lokoja, Kogi State. An eyewitness said the gunmen, who were fully armed, stormed the church and started shooting continuously.

6. Kidnappers of a village head in Adamawa State have killed the village head and a relative sent to deliver ransom for his release. The kidnappers after collecting N2 million did not only keep the village head, but they also held back the ransom bearer and demanded more money before killing them.

7. A former United States (U.S) Ambassador to Nigeria, John Campbell, has cautioned the Nigerian authorities against the far-reaching implications of flouting the Appeal Court judgment which discharged and acquitted the leader of proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, of terrorism charge preferred against him by the Federal Government.

8. The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, will on November 28 swear in the 62 new Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) whose appointment was announced on September 29. A statement yesterday in Abuja by the Supreme Court’s Director of Information, Dr. Festus Akande, said the event, earlier planned for November 21, was shifted to accommodate other activities of the court.

9. The presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, and the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, met at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Monday. Upon sighting each other, the duo exchanged banters as their aides and associates looked on.

10. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the All Progressives Congress, APC-led Federal Government of denying its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, of a campaign rally venue in Kaduna State. The campaign rally was originally scheduled to hold at the prestigious Ahmadu Bello Stadium (ABS), but a few hours to the event, the approved application was withdrawn.
