Whether fan or foe, a popular stand-up comedian, Abovi Ugboma, known as Bovi has laid a curse on a follower who accused him of collecting money to bring the image of the country to the mud.

Newsonline reports that Bovi was accused by a fan, Chigozirim Aliyu of supporting the Endsars movement because he was paid by agents against the APC government.

The trouble started with the fan, who goes by Igbo and Hausa/Fulani name, Chigozirim Aliyu, posting a photo of a Nigerian athlete, Tobi Amusan, who was celebrating her gold victory with the Nigerian flag.

Chigozirim Aliyu, a Tinubu supporter, posted a cropped photo, in which he wrote on Tobi Amusan’s picture, ‘patriot’, he then wrote on Bovi’s picture, ‘hoodlum’.

In the picture he posted Tobi beside Bovi, the comedian wore a cloth of Nigerian flag, which was stained with ‘blood’.

Bovi wore the cloth when he attended a headies award ceremony in protest of October 20, 2020, Endsars massacre in Lekki Lagos.

Reacting to the photo and the title, Bovi wrote, “The people that paid and manipulated you people into this endless campaign have moved on. But being the zombies that you all are, you keep trying to get up. Just one visual statement and you people can’t sleep. You’re all keeping the memories of 10/20 alive. Good job.”

Another Tinubu, APC, presidential candidate supporter, BigSam who replied to Bovi’s tweet said, “Nobody paid me, however, we knew those who paid you. A day will come in nearest future that you will truly sit down with yourself and ask yourself the most sincere question that why did you do this. Wearing zobo stained Nigerian flag.”

Bovi who was annoyed by the attack of the Tinubu supporters and the allegation that he was paid to attack the government of President Buhari and Tinubu, laid a curse on the two tweeps.

Bovi wrote, “As long as I was never paid as you claim,u will never make it out of your shadows. You will see success around you but you will not partake of it. Your name will never go down in history as someone that lived. I have cursed you. And so shall it be. You r a living dead henceforth.”

The popular comedian had shown his support for Peter Obi, Labour Party presidential candidate.
