2023: Labour Party Is Online Party, Won't Get 15 Votes - Hon Akin Alabi

All progressive Congress member of the House of Representatives, Akin Alabi has argued that Labour Party is online party and will not get 15 votes in the 2023 general election.

Newsonline reports that Akin Alabi, 45 years old, said Labour Party should respect his party’s political games because they are on the ground and not online.

Akin Alabi who is representing Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency of Oyo State, boasted that winning elections is with money, just as he asked Labour Party how much they have they can use to win election.

Akin made the statement on Saturday while reacting to a tweet about the Labour Party’s strategy to forestall rigging next year.

Professor Pat Utomi, a Labour Party Chieftain, had disclosed that the platform and a coalition were planning to have 15 agents at each polling unit.

In reply, Alabi wrote: “Labour Party will not get 15 votes in my polling unit at Ajiwogbo, Ward 4, Egbeda Local Government, Ibadan.

His comment, generated an attack from Obidients, Peter Obi’s supporters.

Obidients, Peter Obi supporters designation, said that Akin Alabi’s comment was a mockery to the desire of Nigerian youths for a country that works for all citizens.
