King Mitchy has reportedly committed suicide with Snipper after failed attempt with Hypo.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that popular Nigerian content creator and influencer Mitchell Mukoro, better known as King Mitchy, has sparked widespread concern after allegedly consuming Sniper (a common insecticide often linked to suicide attempts in Nigeria) during a TikTok livestream this evening.

This incident follows an earlier reported attempt where she allegedly ingested Hypo (a household bleach product), which reportedly failed. Sources and viral clips indicate that Mitchy locked herself in a bathroom, consumed the substance while emotional, and was captured on live video amid pleas from viewers and those around her to stop.

Reactions in the footage include her reportedly shouting “Jesus” upon tasting the liquid, with bystanders and online audiences expressing shock, anger, and calls for intervention.

Meanwhile, NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) had previously warned against the open sale of Sniper due to its frequent misuse in suicide cases.

Social media has been flooded with reactions, some expressing genuine worry for her mental health and calls for her to seek help or go offline, while others criticize the situation as attention-seeking or a “joke” involving fake death announcements and resurrections. Nollywood actor Ijebu has even called for her arrest over the alleged suicide attempts, citing public endangerment and the glorification of such acts.

Authorities have not yet confirmed her current condition or any medical intervention.

This is a developing story, more details to follow.
